US sponsored entrepreneurs at La Bodega’s Xmas bazaar

Two groups of business entrepreneurs, one sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Mexico under the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs program and the other by the Zapopan municipal government under the Made in Zapopan program, will present products at a Christmas Edition Business Bazaar at Restaurant La Bodega de Ajijic, Sunday, December 18, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Both groups were given scholarships to take business courses at the Universidad Panamericana. Instructor Diego Gonzalez Bonilla, son of Javier, owner of La Bodega, has organized this event to showcase the success of these young men and women.

Some of the products offered include organic cafe and herbal teas, organic granola, cacao, dried fruit, honey, homemade and deli cheeses, homemade sangrita, natural dietary supplements, sealing wax bars, stamps and social stationary, ecological body care products, (deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soap bars), hand chiselled items, cinnamon buns, personalized hats, chocolates, artisanal liquors, Mexican crafts (blown glass, papel picado), clay pottery and Huichol crafts.
