Jazz
Canadian jazz saxophonist, bassoonist, and pianist Ben Wendel is a two-time Grammy nominee who has collaborated with many renowned artists.
An accomplished composer, he received the ASCAP Jazz Composer Award, and his Tchaikovsky-inspired project The Seasons (2015) was named one of the best albums of the year by The New York Times.
Wendel brings his quartet to Guadalajara as part of the ongoing New York All Stars jazz series.

Folk Dance
Ballet Folclórico de la Universidad de Guadalajara presents three Sunday afternoon performances of their latest work, “Herencia de Libertad.” Regarded as one of Mexico’s finest troupes, they combine discipline, technique and artistic sensitivity. Pat Metheny
Versatile U.S. jazz guitarist and composer Pat Metheny brings his “Dream Box MoonDial Tour” to Guadalajara. Over his career, Metheny has released more than 50 albums, earned 20 Grammy Awards, and achieved multiple gold records. He is the only artist to win Grammys in 10 different categories. In 2025, he received the Charlie Christian Award from the Jazz Foundation of America for lifetime guitar brilliance. His style spans progressive jazz, contemporary jazz, Latin jazz and jazz fusion. He has collaborated with Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, Ornette Coleman, and many others.
