Las Voces del Lago’s spring concert program, “Glorious,” promises a musical tapestry of both classical masterpieces and contemporary favorites, featuring the Mixed Chorus, Nova Lux and the Women’s Chorus.
The two concerts, on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13, will offer a rich and diverse experience, blending timeless works by Handel with beloved Broadway melodies from “Wicked.”
Audiences will be captivated by the ethereal beauty of “Pie Jesu,” the uplifting energy of gospel and Shaker music, and the haunting melodies of “Scarborough Fair.” The program also includes “Both Sides Now,” “The Lamb,” and Billy Joel’s heartfelt “And So It Goes,” providing a journey through a variety of musical styles.
Please note Las Voces del Lago’s new venue: Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Jalisco Chapala (Libramiento 200). Free shuttle service will be available from the parking lot in front of the Institute to the Robert Kleffel Auditorium on campus. All concerts will begin at 3 p.m. Tickets are 400 pesos.
