Lake Chapala Orchestra wraps season with three ‘life-affirming’ classics

The Lake Chapala Orchestra’s final concert of the 2025 season will take place on Saturday, November 29, at 2 p.m. The dynamic ensemble will present three of the most popular works in the orchestral repertoire, beginning with the scintillating Ruslan and Lyudmila Overture by Russian composer Mikhail Glinka.

The program continues with Mozart’s Flute Concerto No. 1 and concludes with Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 4.

pg13bJoining the orchestra is Eva Rodrigues, one of Jalisco’s most outstanding flutists.

“I can think of no better way to finish our 2025 season than with a concert that contains three life-affirming works that will undoubtedly bring a smile to the audience,” says LCCO artistic director Michael Reason.

The orchestra now performs at the Robert Kleffel Auditorium at the Instituto Tecnológico de Chapala, Libramiento Chapala–Ajijic 200. The venue features excellent acoustics, seating for 350, ample parking adjacent to the auditorium, and a multimedia presentation that has become an integral part of LCCO concerts.
