The American School Foundation of Guadalajara (ASFG) stages Art Fest 2026 on Saturday, March 7 on its spacious outdoor grounds in Colonia Providencia.
The 37th edition of Art Fest will showcase 38 artists, who will display and sell their paintings, prints, ceramics, sculptures and more in individual booths. There will also be three guest galleries.
Adjacent areas will offer a variety of foods, music, interactive children’s art workshops and displays of student art. ASFG takes pride in its emphasis on the arts—visual arts, theater and music—which has resulted in many students choosing careers in creative fields.
The event will also feature a live art auction at 3 p.m. led by renowned auctioneer Luis Eduardo López Muñoz. The auction will showcase works by high school AP Art students, along with a collaborative piece by this year’s guest artist Víctor Haro, middle school students and their art teacher.
As part of the project, Haro spent time engaging with students, including creating a polyptych with seventh-graders. “Teamwork was put to the test,” the artist said at a press conference this week, explaining how the six pieces, when combined, form a single collective work.
Art Fest is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the campus located at Colomos 2300 in Guadalajara. Everyone welcome.
