‘Doubt’ at LLT
Lakeside Little Theatre presents “Doubt: A Parable,” Friday, March 28 through April 6.
Written by John Patrick Shanley, the play premiered in New York City in 2005, and deals with the suspicions Sister and Principal Aloysius Beauvier develops about a beloved and progressive priest, Father Flynn. Did he molest one of the students in her school? A fierce battle of wills ensues; and the play ends leaving everyone, characters and audience alike, in a very uncomfortable state of doubt. The play won, among many other accolades, both the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Awards for Best Play.
Tickets, 400 pesos, are available at lakesidelittletheatre.com. Anyone showing a Mexican INE card at the box offices will receive a 150-peso discount.
