More places to experience Day of the Dead

San Antonio Tlayacapan opens its two-day Día de Muertos program Tuesday, November 1 with the Desfile de Calaveras skeleton costume parade departing the plaza at 6:30 p.m. to end at the village cemetery on Calle Allen W. Lloyd for the narration of holiday legends.

Days of the Dead festivities revived

As pandemic-related restrictions on public activities have finally been relaxed, the pause button as also been lifted on traditional observances revolving around Mexico’s unique celebration of Día de Muertos, known to English-speaking Christians as All Souls Day.
