Theater companies La Quinta Teatro and Al Rescate will perform the street opera, La Gran Lucha del Mundo, on the Ajijic Plaza in front of the Centro Cultural Ajijic, Friday, April 19, 6:30 p.m. Open to the public. Bring you own chair.

Joan Franklin’s Watercolor Exhibit is open Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13, 3 to 8 p.m. at Independencia 133, San Antonio. (Inside Adelita AM, across from the plaza.)

Artists Together Salon

360 Xochi Quetzal Residency for Creatives is hosting a salon series, Artistas Juntos — Artists Together, Saturday, March 23 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Bare Stage

Bare Stage Theatre presents “Looking” by Norm Foster Friday, March 29, Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31. All shows are at 4 p.m.

Cultural Festival

The third annual Michicihualli festival celebrating Ajijic and its pre-Hispanic traditions will be held at La Cochera Cultural, Friday to Sunday, March 15 to 17, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Dance

The Ixtlahuacan Ballet Folklorico celebrates its 37th anniversary with a performance Sunday, March 3, noon, at the Centro para la Cultura y las Artes de la Ribera. Tickets, 250 pesos center and 200 pesos side, are available via the ticket box office or voyalteatro.com.
