Art show
Artist and art collector James Broehi is sponsoring a showing at the Centro Cultural Ajijic of 18 pieces of art found in Mexico and attributed by him to famous artists such as Millet, Manet, Degas, Homer, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Munch, Klimt, Toulouse-Lautrec, Matisse, Kirchner, Picasso, Rivera, Merida, Siqueiros, Tamayo, Bacon, Matta and Pollock.

Art auction
Efren Gonzalez will wield the gavel at an art auction Friday, August 12, 4 p.m. at the Ajijic Plaza to help fund his skull mural project.
Art Camp wrap-up
The Lake Chapala Society’s fourth annual Summer Art Camp concluded activities Saturday, July 30 with a graduation event. Ajijic Delegado Chuni Medeles and Centro Cultural Ajijic acting director Beto Muñoz were on hand to assist camp organizers in handing out diplomas to each of the 125 children who enrolled in the program.
