‘Am I there yet?’ – the vexing vaccination question

Many of you have heard of Schrodinger’s Cat. In a capsule, it’s a quantum physics thought experiment that refers to a cat in a box that is either dead or alive, depending on a random quantum event that may or may not happen.

Got that? While the box remains unopened, the cat is scared to death and experiencing an ongoing near-death experience where it sees a bright light and Macavity, the Mystery Cat.

Anyway, it seems to me that Lakeside’s first-dose vaccinations were a bit like this cat waiting for his fate. You wait in a queue for an indefinite period of time and a random event to see if you may or may not be vaccinated, but trying to maintain consciousness and not get dehydrated to a bone fossil. Further, your Sinovac may be effective to 50 percent according to current investigations, so you may or may not get Covid after the vaccine. The Cat again ... maybe, maybe not.
