The overwhelming and disorienting amount of junk news and endless documentary accounts continue to pile up like plastic trash islands in our oceans.
Every time I look to see what’s going on in the world, so I might write about it, I have to wade through tons of informational detritis that makes it harder and harder to find relevancy. My purpose in life is my curiosity about the world.
It was Albert Camus, God love him, who said, “The purpose in life is doing whatever it is you are doing to prevent you from killing yourself.” So, please bear with me out of pure mercy.
