Yeah, Mexico has some wonderful Mayan pyramids and lovely Spanish colonial cathedrals and artistry. But does it have a Trump Luxury Complex?
In 2006, this oversight gave rise to the idea of the “Trump Ocean Resort,” to add its magic to the Baja peninsula. It was a joint venture between the Trump organization and Irongate, a real estate development company. The project was to have 25 stories with 526 condominiums. Investors were made to believe Trump was supervising the project.

I’m still trying to figure out the “value-added” Trump’s name provides to anything, given his many business failures and bankruptcies, and a business model based on paying debts not when he receives an invoice, but a lien.
According to The Los Angeles Times, promotion for the project featured Trump, shown smiling in a French gold-leaf chair, explaining that no words or pictures “can possibly describe what is about to take shape here, but it is certainly going to be the most spectacular place in all of Mexico.”
