Chaos Theory follows us around 24 hours a day

Are there mysterious forces at play that seem to spin your life or a significant area of it out of control for no really logical reason?

In other words, when something happens to you that is unpleasant do you sit around with a bag of Toritos trying to figure out what you did to deserve this shock or surprise? And all you ever get is thirsty.

A favorite Chaos trope, the so-called butterfly effect (a delicate flapping of wings), for example, that may connect over a long untoward stretch of causes and effects can raise a tsunami.  That’s Chaos Theory. It’s apparently a real science. And its fundamentals show up every morning as soon as we get out of bed.

If you’re sceptical about all this, let me tell you about the two lovebirds, Ellen and Sid, as a perfect  example. They prepared meticulously for a very simple wedding — 15 guests, a dance, a bouquet toss and off to St. Kitts. Simple enough? Until Chaos intervened.
