Ajijic’s Asociacion de Charros will host a traditional fiesta for local kids on Sunday, April 26 from 4:30 p.m. at the Lienzo Charro bullring located on Calle Revolucion, a block and a half south of the highway.
The event ties into the April 30 national celebration of Dia del Niño (Children’s Day). The horsemen’s association will treat youngsters to an afternoon of wholesome fun and games, including calf riding for junior cowpokes, contests, raffles and free refreshments. The general public is welcome to attend at no charge.
Generous folks who would like to contribute toys, bags of candy and goodies to be given away as prizes may drop off their donations at the bullring after 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
