Exciting news for the future of Cruz Roja Chapala (CRC) was announced during the organization’s big benefit held Wednesday, June 9, at the Lake Chapala Society (LCS).
Addressing a huge crowd assembled in the society’s garden, CRC Board President Yolanda Martínez and Cruz Roja Mexicana Vice President Miguel Ángel Domínguez unveiled plans for the expansion of the institution’s Chapala headquarters, with project designer Arturo Carmona explaining details.
The project will entail a total reconstruction of the medical facility, covering the entire 1,591 square meters of the grounds located on Avenida González Gallo. The renovated building will stand two stories high, with the areas for emergency and medical services, ambulance parking and a new hemodialysis clinic housed on the ground floor. The upper level will accommodate living space for medical personnel, administrative offices and a meeting room.
