The Abundant Life Church in San Antonio has purchased a water filtration system and is providing free filtered water to the public.
According to Pastor Gary Neighbor, they are giving out around 250 garrafones of water a day. Customers must provide their own containers.
Don Spangler says he heard about a family that couldn’t afford to buy water and after several weeks of using the free filtered water from the church, their kids’ stomach problems went away. Also, he says, another man takes about 15 garrafones of water to the Mezcala area for people who cannot afford to buy bottled water.
