The prolonged rains that swept through the Chapala area overnight on Tuesday, July 25, the heaviest storm so far this season, left many streets inundated with rivers of water and layers of mud.
The unfinished rehabilitation of Ajijic’s Prolongación Ocampo in the vicinity of La Canacinta took the brunt of the deluge.
