Lakeside Presbyterian

Pastor Carolyn’s sermon this week, will be about Jesus’ Final Requests: John 14:12-31

On Jesus’ last evening before his death, He met with His disciples for what’s now called “The Last Supper.” He continued to teach up until the very end—and He also passed on some very important gifts. As Jesus’ disciples today, all Christian believers share in these gifts. And that is truly good news!

The English-language service is at 9:30 a.m., which also streams live at facebook.com/LPCChapala. Wednesday drop-in Bible study.

Calle San Jorge 250 in Riberas del Pilar, just south of Mom’s Restaurant, toward the lake.

Heritage Baptist Church

Fix your thoughts on Christ. Hebrews 3: 4-6. For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later, but Christ is faithful over God’s house as a son. The author could have been writing to us today. Not that we would drift back towards Judaism, but the danger is to drift towards a Christ-less Christianity. A Christianity that does not embrace the truth of the fulfilment of Christ. Desire to concentrate all your efforts on Him who has been counted to be of greater glory than Moses, or the angels. Look unto Christ and hold fast onto Him your confident anchor.

Heritage Baptist meets above Pancho’s Deli, Riberas del Pilar. Sundays at 11 a.m.. Ladies’ Bible Study every Friday at 10 a.m. Cell: 331-437-7281 or 333-016-3743.
