St. Andrew’s Anglican

Are you a “thinking” person? A “feeling” person? Is either one sufficient or are we called to do something else – something deeper, something harder? Those are the questions addressed by this week’s sermon at St. Andrew’s, “Commandment People,” based on Jesus’ encounter with a young man wondering about how to be right with God. That question is also at the heart of the 10 a.m. worship at St. Andrew’s every Sunday morning.

Christ Church Anglican Fellowship will celebrate the Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost on October 14 in three ways. Several of the congregation will travel to Mazamitla to celebrate the Holy Eucharist with La Sagrada Familiar, a mission of the Diocese of the West that is established there and which is currently without a priest. Rob Wells, a diaconal candidate for the Diocese of the West at Christ Church will lead the congregation at Lakeside with Holy Communion from the reserved sacrament and preach at 9:30 a.m. at The Little Chapel by the Lake. His theme will be “For God All Things Are Possible,” based on Mark 10: 17-31. He will preach the same sermon at the regular 11:15 service for the congregation of The Little Chapel by the Lake. Find out why all things are possible!
