Are you a chess fan? Come and demonstrate your knowledge and strategies in a simultaneous game Saturday, June 29, 10 a.m. at the Lake Chapala Society in conjunction with Huara Chess Club. Play with Eithan, a talented boy who enjoys chess and who at his young age has participated in several national and international tournaments. Support him in his preparation for the next challenge: his participation in the “Catalan Circuit” where he will play in some of the tournaments that will take place in cities in Spain and Andorra. Come, meet him, have fun and challenge him. There will be surprise gifts in case you manage to beat him.

American Legion Post 7 Chapala Auxiliary is accepting registrations for the 3rd Annual Christmas in July Arts and Crafts Bazaar, held Saturday, July 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tables are 120 pesos for a 2.7-foot-square table.
