Open Circle
Nova Lux Chamber Choir is the theme for Sunday, August 18, 10:30 a.m. at Open Circle at the Lake Chapala Society. The lakeside community has a new performing group that is generating much enthusiasm among local music lovers. Nova Lux is a chamber choir and a branch of the newly formed Las Voces del Lago Community Chorus.
Hear from choir director Ken Turner about his transition from teaching music to U.S. high school students to leading a more “seasoned” singing community at Lakeside. The full choir will attend and provide a musical sample from their upcoming performance on August 23, when it will present a concert of Spanish Renaissance music and other choral treasures at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church.
Reserve your seats at opencircleajijic.org.
