Get Cooking

Dust off your old time recipes and get cooking. The 5th annual American Legion Charity Chili Cook-off is set for Saturday, February 25, 1-5 p.m., at El Rio BBQ Bar and Grill in Paso Ancho, Felipe Angeles 245, right on the Rio Cuale.

Saddle Up

More than 30 of the best charro teams in Mexico and the United States will gather from February 1 to 5 at Arena Vallarta, El Higuera 630, Colonia El Colorado, just northeast of downtown Puerto Vallarta to compete in the 6th International Grand Prize Charro Championship.

Street party

The block festivities continue. The Southside Shuffle started on Friday, November 18 of last year and will continue every other Friday through April 21.

The multiple stages at Act II Entertainment are full of laughter and good cheer.

Virgin feted

Puerto Vallarta’s 12-day observances honoring the city’s patron saint, Our Lady of Guadalupe, began on December 1.  During this period dozens of processions file through city streets each day to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, adjacent to the main square.
