The core mission of Niños Incapacitados is to provide medical assistance to chronically ill children.
Right now, medical assistance alone is insufficient to ensure that these children have adequate care. Because of this reality, the organization is providing food during the course of the pandemic as part of our core mission.
In April, Niños Incapacitados launched a fundraising appeal for supplemental service enhancement, called Food = Medicine. Its success is a tribute to both the work that we do and the respect that we garner from our donors.
Currently, we average approximately 335,000 pesos per month to support the needs of our families. Included in this amount is 1,000 pesos per month for food.
You can be a part of this important outreach. This amount translates into US$40 and CA$56. We will be assisting at least 140 families a month with food. You can adopt a family anywhere from one to six months or give whatever is comfortable at this time.
