The first booth in the program known as Kioscos Electrónicos de Transparencia was placed in the downtown Guadalajara state tax collection office (Recaudadora 00).
All state government agencies will be obliged to provide complete details of their financial transactions for general access at the booths.
Institute of Transparency and Public Information (ITEI) President Cynthia Cantero called the new program “a great advance.”
