Second doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be administered to residents of Zapopan over 60 years old as of Monday, June 7.
The appointments model introduced by the Jalisco Health Department (SSJ) is being employed. To obtain an appointment, registration is required on the website, vacuna.jalisco.gob.mx. All that is needed is a resident’s CURP identification number, plus a few personal details.
Vaccination sites include the Benito Juárez Auditorium, as well as a drive-in module at the University of Guadalajara’s CUCEA campus. Health authorities say there is no need to turn up way before the time slot – 15 to 20 minutes is adequate.
Nine weeks have elapsed since the first AstraZeneca doses were applied in the metro-area municipality at the start of April.
