Jalisco Governor Enrique Alfaro officially kicked off work on the fourth Tran Ligero (light train) line on Sunday, May 22.
The fully electric line (L4) will run for 21 kilometers, connecting the center of Tlajomulco to the southern part of the Guadalajara metropolitan area.
At the ceremony, Alfaro reflected on his personal commitment to the project, which he first proposed while serving as mayor of Tlajomulco from 2009 to 2012.
