In stark contrast to the event promoted to the right of this article, the Jardin Americana on Guadalajara’s Avenida Vallarta hosts the seventh Serendipity Festival on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12.
The bazaar brings together some 80 independent vendors who will be showing and selling a wide range of merchandize in this charming turn-of-the-century events venue. Expect to find a wide range of art, fashion, jewelry, esoteric goods, household items, plants, pet accessories and much more. There will be plenty of food and drink options, as well as live music. Special guests will be the Patitas De Amor dog adoption charity. Free entry. Open both days from 10 a.m.
The Jardin Americana is located at Av. Vallarta 1305, between Colonias and Emerson. On Sunday, the Via RecreActiva car-free activity takes place on the avenue between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The Jardin Americana holds regular bazaars and other events, focusing mainly on independent artists and business people. On Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2, the venue will host the Guadalajara Beer Festival, when more than 50 different craft brews will be showcased.
