A Circus Arts Center, the first ever in the Guadalajara metropolitan area, has opened in the Colli neighborhood of Zapopan.
“Young people will be able to have classes, training and the opportunity to make public presentations,” Zapopan Mayor Juan Jose Frangie said at the inauguration of the facility this week.
Juan Méndez, the center’s coordinator, said the workshops will help beginning students “develop physical skills, coordination and mental and motor discipline.”
The center will accept girls and boys from the age of six. The cost of the classes and workshops will be affordable, Zapopan authorities promise. For more information, call Cultura Zapopan at 333-818- 2200.
