Suburban Light Train line set to open Dec. 15

Three and a half years after construction began, Guadalajara’s fourth light rail line, Linea 4, will open to the public on December 15, Jalisco Governor Pablo Lemus announced during his annual state report (informe).

The new suburban light train connects the center of Tlajomulco to the start of the Mi Macro Calzada BRT bus line, spanning 21 kilometers through southern metropolitan Guadalajara.

pg1bThe 35-minute route will include nine stations: Las Juntas (Macro Calzada), Acueducto, Jalisco 200 Años, Real del Valle, Concepción del Valle, El Cuervo, Lomas del Sur, Cutlajo, and Tlajomulco Centro. The Jalisco 200 Años station offers a connection to the Mi Macro Periférico BRT line, while the Concepción del Valle station intersects with the busy Avenida Adolfo B. Horn.
