Yolanda Zamora, one of the most recognized voices in radio, will be honored with the Fernando Benítez National Tribute for Cultural Journalism at FIL 2025.

For over 50 years, this Mazatlán-born communicator has illuminated the airwaves of Guadalajara, interviewing many great figures of art, literature and thought.
She has hosted iconic programs such as Panorama Cultural, A las Nueve con Usted, Perfiles, and, more recently, La Passarola.
Zamora reflects on the importance of her craft:
“Cultural journalism is a specialty, just like economics, politics or sports journalism. But far from being the ugly duckling, I always say it is the swan of journalism. It requires talent, intelligence and sensitivity — sensitivity that connects you with people and their expressions.”
