The heart of Guadalajara is now beating with the vibrant pulse of the season as the 2025 Ilusionante Festival, the metropolitan area’s most joyful holiday celebration, is officially underway.
The magic began last Sunday, December 7, with a ceremony in Plaza Liberación, where the lighting of the Christmas tree against the backdrop of the Metropolitan Cathedral officially ushered in a month of wonder.
Now in its fourth and largest edition, the festival transforms not only Guadalajara’s historic center but also extends its festive cheer to Zapopan and Tlajomulco. A collaborative effort between the state, municipal governments and the Guadalajara Chamber of Commerce, Ilusionante offers over 100 activities, the majority of which are completely free.
