The iconic trophy — which will be lifted by the eventual world champions in New York in July — will be presented at Chivas’ Akron Stadium in Zapopan, with the event sponsored by a soft drink company and open to the public starting at 9:20 a.m.
Guadalajara, hosting the World Cup for the third time in its history and dubbed “the most Mexican host city,” will implement extensive security protocols for the arrival of football’s most prestigious symbol.
The presentation will take place at the stadium that will host four first-round games in the 2026 tournament, on June 11, 18, 23 and 26.
