New test rule for inbound US travelers

A new rule announced by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requiring travelers flying into the United States from another country to test negative for Covid-19 within 24 hours of their departure takes effect 12:01 a.m. ET on Monday, December 6. 

Previously, inbound travelers could test up to three days before entering the United States.
