ChangeMakers Lake Chapala is providing laptops to promising, motivated girls beginning high school.
The ChangeMakers program, in conjunction with the SAFE scholarship program, provides financial assistance to encourage girls with high grade point averages to enroll, attend and graduate from high school. The girls must come from low-income families. The SAFE program, begun at Lakeside 18 years ago, manages the scholarship selection and compliance aspects of this program for girls.
