Democrats Abroad Lake Chapala Chapter hosts a stimulating Zoom talk by Dr. Aviva Chomsky on Monday, May 17, 7 p.m., as part of their monthly program series.
All DA chapters in Mexico have been invited to attend, and attendance will be by reservation only.

Chomsky will address the “U.S.-Mexico Border Crisis,” focusing on why Central Americans are fleeing north and some of the root causes, including U.S. actions and increasing poverty. She will also examine solutions, including what works — and what doesn’t — in the real world.
Residents at Lakeside will find many relevant insights provided by Chomsky, who is an expert in her area of research.
