Staff of the local branch of Jalisco’s Tourism Department were surprised to find signs of a break-in that occurred sometime over the past weekend at the office located at the west end of the Chapala Malecón.
An unknown thief (or thieves) had pried apart the lock securing the front door before making off with the agency`s computer equipment. Fortunately, office chief Pilar Posada Rodríguez has backup files of all information that was stored on the stolen gear.
