Mariana Macías, the San Antonio Tlayacapan native crowned last July as Miss Grand México 2021, is featured in a promotional video produced to accent Día de Muertos observations in the Chapala area.
Macias appears with her face painted to represent La Catrina, the classic figure of Lady Death, and dressed in various typical Mexican outfits for a series of scenes filmed at different sites in Chapala, San Antonio and Ajijic.
