Jalisco’s Secretariat of Security reports that state police have been picking up individuals suspected of being involved in the trade of illicit substances during routine patrols in the municipality of Chapala
Targeting street corners that are well known as points of drug dealing, on separate occasions over the past two weeks officers detained one man on Chapala’s Avenida in the vicinity of Pepe Guizar, another two at the Ajijic intersection of Aldama and Guadalupe Victoria, and two more at Calle La Paz at Amaya in San Antonio Tlayacapan. All were caught in possession of multiple doses of synthetic drugs identified as crystal meth.
