Facelift for Municipal insignia

The local government is fixing up the string of signs illustrating the toponymic insignia of Lake Chapala’s shoreline municipalities that are installed along the sidewalk bordering Paseo Ramón Corona between Avenida Madero and Calle Juárez.

A fresh coat of paint is being applied to the metal structures and symbols representing the original Nahuatl names of each community as the next step in City Hall’s effort to enhance the image of the city’s prime tourist zone.
