Correcting the date mix-up published last week, the Encuentro de Arpas, Salterios y Más music festival will take place Wednesday, June 8, on the grounds of the Centro Cultural González Gallo in Chapala.
The event features a non-stop program of acoustic music running from 1 to 10 p.m.
The 20th edition of the Harps and More marathon will showcase around 60 guest artists performing different Latin American, classical and contemporary genres as soloists or ensembles. According to custom, spectators are welcome to come and go at their leisure. While plenty of shaded seating will be available in front of the stage, people are allowed to brings chairs, blankets, picnic gear and refreshments to spread out and relax around the venue’s gardens.
There is no charge for admission, but guests are encouraged to make donations to help cover the festival’s expenses. Souvenirs, CDs, food and drinks will be offered for sale.
