What happened to the anticipated Red Wave?
Based on early reporting, the MAGA Republicans woke a sleeping giant on the left. Especially women and younger people around reproductive rights and related privacy rights such as contraception and interracial marriage. Plus, there were ground-breaking firsts in this midterm embracing more than ever our diverse cultural and ethnic heritage: more women, people of color, the LGBTQ community, Muslims, Native Americans and a first, Gen Z.
