A middle-aged man was found dead in his Ajijic home on Friday, September 8, a presumed victim of suicide.
The Mexican national was found by local first responders at the entrance of his home on Calle Constitución where he had apparently expired from self-inflicted hanging. He was known to have been afflicted with psychological problems that probably led him to take his own life.
Transit was temporarily blocked off in the immediate vicinity by an ambulance and a Civil Protection patrol until a unit from the Jalisco Forensica Institute arrived to retrieve the man’s body.
