Jalisco Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro arrived in Ajijic on Thursday, January 9, for a two-day closed-door meeting with members of his cabinet.
The gathering, held at the Centro para la Cultura y Las Artes, aims to analyze and establish the annual planning of the state’s priority projects.
The main discussion topics include health care, education and state infrastructure. Lemus is also focused on advancing matters related to culture and sports.
On Friday morning, following the conclusion of the session, Lemus will meet with Chapala Mayor Alejandro Aguirre to discuss the implementation of government projects in the municipality. A key issue will be the planned extension of the city’s waterfront Malecón to include the Parque de la Cristianía, located just around the bend.
