Young people with conditions may get vaccine from Nov. 3

Covid-19 vaccinations for young people age 12 to 17 with certain chronic medical conditions will start at 41 Jalisco hospitals as of Wednesday, November 3, the State Health Department has announced.

Those seeking shots must first register on the federal government website, mivacuna.salud.gob.mx, and ensure they comply with the established guidelines. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is the only one approved by Mexican regulators for this segment of the population.
