Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has vowed to file a defamation lawsuit against Jeffrey Lichtman, the attorney representing Ovidio Guzmán López, the son of imprisoned drug kingpin Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán. Lichtman’s client pleaded guilty last week in U.S. District Court in Chicago to federal drug charges.
