Millicent Brandow
Peacefully, with her family by her side, Millicent Brandow passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 96.
Born on January 22, 1928, Millicent will be fondly remembered for her beautiful soprano voice and her love of music, which she shared through the Los Cantantes del Lago choir, the St. Andrew’s Anglican Episcopal Church choir, and the many small theater productions she participated in throughout the Chapala area.
Predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) Brandow, Millicent was a devoted mother to Tom Brandow (Carol Anne), Chris Brandow (Barbara), and Elaine Radoslav (Emil). She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The eldest of four sisters, Millicent is survived by Betty MacDonald (Douglas), Barbara Vance (William), and Ruth Willson (predeceased by Ross Willson). She will also be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life and interment will take place on Monday, February 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Anglican Episcopal Church, San Lucas 19, Riberas del Pilar, Ajijic.
