Michelin stars and culinary icons at Vallarta-Nayarit Gastronomica

The 17th edition of Vallarta-Nayarit Gastronomica will be held from October 12 to 19, at the Hotel Paradise Village. The event brings together Michelin-starred chefs, local culinary talents, and experts from Mexico, Latin America and Europe.

pg11bThe festival features exclusive dinners, tastings, workshops, and conferences, with international dignitaries such as Nacho Manzano, the only Spanish chef with three Michelin stars; Janaina Torres from Brazil, named the best female chef of 2024 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants; and Heinz Wuth from Chile, creator of the Ciencia y Cocina project.

From Mexico, renowned chefs Carlos Gaytán (Michelin-starred chef at Tzuco in Chicago and Há in Xcaret) and Mario Hernández (known for his Taqueria El Califa in León) will also participate.

Under the theme “Connecting Minds, Connecting Souls,” festival directors have stated that this edition will continue to elevate Jalisco and Nayarit as global leaders in culinary innovation, tradition, and hospitality, reinforcing Mexico’s position as a top gastronomic destination.
