Jalisco authorities have extended the deadline to pay the annual vehicle tax (refrendo) until the end of July.
And in a bid to incentivize people to stay at home during the Covid-19 epidemic, a five-percent discount will be applied for everyone paying online at http://gobiernoenlinea1.jalisco.gob.mx/vehicular.
The annual cost of the refrendo for cars and pickups is 640 pesos, and 290 pesos for motorcycles. A surcharge of 53 pesos is added as a “contribution” to the Cruz Roja (Red Cross) and Casa Hogar Cabañas state-run children’s home.
