Moisés Anaya will take an indefinite unpaid leave of absence from Chapala’s City Council following his February 15 appointment as regional liaison director for the Jalisco government’s Social Assistance System.
The former mayor and current city councilor announced his new job assignment on Facebook, pledging “In my position, I will continue supporting Chapala and the well-being of the people of Jalisco.”
