This weekend sees the conclusion of the large fair in downtown Guadalajara that has showcased around 700 small Jalisco enterprises over the past three weeks.
Producers of a vast range of products from nearly all of the state’s 125 municipalities have taken advantage of the space allowed them in the Jalisco capital to promote their creations.
As well as a huge array of arts and crafts, visitors to the expo will find candies, beverages, ice cream, beauty and health products, clothing, footwear, jewelry, decorations for homes and businesses and much more.
One advantage of the fair is being able to purchase goods directly from the producer rather than through a third-party vendor who will inflate the price.
Adding to the ambiance in the Plaza Liberacion are music and dance performances scheduled at regular intervals on an adjoining stage.
The final three days of Expo Centros Históricos Jalisco are Friday, August 4 through Sunday, August 6, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the Plaza Liberacion, behind the Cathedral and facing the Teatro Degollado.
